Women's Ministry Activities & Events
Our Theme for 2008-09:
Our theme for this year is "One Body, One Mind, and One Purpose." Our focus will be the "One Another's" of the body, to equip women to love others outside the body as well. We will Love one another, Serve one another, Forgive one another, Bear with one another, Encourage one another, and Exhort one another. Over the summer we focused on "One Body" through our Women's Nights Out. This Fall our focus is "One Mind", as we offer the same Bible study three times during the week. Over the course of the year, we'll focus on "One Purpose": growing in the knowledge of Jesus, building a stronger sense of community, and bringing glory to God in our love for Him, and for one another, and in our service.
Bible Studies
This fall, we're offering "Just Give Me Jesus," by Anne Graham Lotz. It covers the book of John, to coincide with Pastor Rick's message series. In the winter, we'll offer "Apples of Gold," by Betty Huizenga, and "The Purpose-Driven Life," by Rick Warren.
