Bible Study Fellowship International provides you with the tools, the environment, the relationships, and the support you need to grow deeper in your knowledge and understanding of God and the Bible. This comprehensive inter-denominational Bible study program helps you gain a practical understanding of this important book.
The heartbeat of BSF is the study of the Bible. And as your understanding of the Bible increases, you will find your relationship with God deepening.
What makes BSF unique is: a Four-Fold Approach to learning.
The Bible Study Fellowship experience is more than a class. It is a daily opportunity to interact with the text of the Bible. BSF has uses a four-fold method to help people better understand the context and applications of what they are studying.
The Four-Fold Approach factors in:
1) DAILY QUESTIONS FOR INDIVIDUAL BIBLE STUDY
2) LIVELY DISCUSSIONS GROUPS
3) COMPELLING LECTURES
4) ENRICHING NOTES
During the week leading up to a BSF Class, members are encouraged to work through study questions. When they arrive at their class, members join with their weekly discussion groups for lively conversation based on insights from their daily studies.
The teaching leader then lectures on the passage, helping class members delve even further into their understanding of the passage. The week's lesson wraps up with notes from the teaching that help enrich the members' understanding and application.
And then the Four-Fold Approach begins again.
This approach is consistent with each of BSF's seven year long studies that coincide with the school-year calendar.
• Romans
• Matthew
• The Life of Moses
• John
• History of Israel and the Minor Prophets
• Acts of the Apostles
• Genesis
This year's study is the book of Romans next year will be the book of Matthew.
While this is a comprehensive 33-week study, it is also designed for you to jump into it at any time.
Your visitor's experience will be similar to attending a regular BSF class. You will interact with other group members and experience the BSF teaching time. One difference, however, is that during the discussion group time, you and other visitors will attend an overview about BSF classes.
Please Note: During the special visitors' session there is no provision for childcare. Other arrangements must be made for children on this day. You will have an opportunity to register your children when you join the BSF class you are visiting.
