Sunday Mornings
Kingdom Kids is the children's ministry at Grace Community Church. We desire to create a fun and loving environment in which children can grow in their relationship with Jesus, hear God's word, and learn to share His love with others in their communities.
During the 9 o'clock hour
Kids' Church (4 1/2 years -- 4th grade)
Kids' Church is held at 9am. From February through May, each month will have a theme. February is Love month, March is Jesus Marching to the Cross for Us, April is God's triumph over Death, and May is Mighty Messenger Month. Each week's lesson has variety and high energy. We make crafts, sing worship songs, have object lessons, hear Bible stories, and play games that reinforce the week's lesson.
Childcare is provided during this hour for infants through 18 months and 18 months to 4 years old.
During the 10 o'clock hour
Infants (Newborn -- crawlers)
Your child will be cared for by loving adults in a safe and child friendly environment. Babies can play with age appropriate toys, be rocked by the teacher, or nap.
Toddler Time (Walking -- 2 years old)
Your child will interact with other children in the room as well as with the adult teachers. Toddlers will play with toys, sing and move to music, hear a Bible story, and have a snack.
Preschool Praise Club (2 1/2 years -- 4 years--turn 4 after Sept. 1st)
Your child will have free time to play with other children in the class, sing worship songs, hear Bible stories, learn Bible verses, play games, make lesson-related crafts, and enjoy a snack.
Kids ages 4 1/2 through 5th grade attend Sunday School during the 10 o'clock hour
Classes are grouped as follows: Prek - Kindergarten*, 1st graders*, 2nd & 3rd graders, and 4th & 5th graders*. *Sunday school classes are using Rock Solid curriculum. 2nd & 3rd graders are using a variety of themed topics and curriculum.
