About Grace
Grace Community Church is an Evangelical Free Church located in Palatine, Illinois.
Part of the vision of Grace is to be a “Life Saving Station” for residents of Palatine and the surrounding communities. We believe the Life Saving Station metaphor applies to a place where refreshment, rejuvenation, and resources are available for the journey of life. We also recognize that we are not called to live at the station, but we are designed by a gracious God, who invites us to go out into the world to make a difference. Our hope is that the folks from GCC are stirred by God's Word, are struggling well with life together and that we SERVE each other wholeheartedly. Our perspective changes when we Celebrate Christ, Connect through community, and Coach others towards spiritual maturity.
It is our hope that as part of the Grace family you will find that our ministries give you tools for everyday living. The author of Hebrews says, “Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings. It is good for our hearts to be strengthened by grace.” May our Sunday Celebration service be the place where your heart is strengthened as we focus on the grace of God.
